Pitha festival held in Belkuchi

A winter pitha festival was held on Thursday in Sirajganj's Belkuchi upazila with the trainees of women IT service provider.

The festival was organized in the afternoon at the upazila auditorium with the theme of 'Empowerment of Women through Technology' organized by the upazila administration in collaboration with Graphics Aid (JV).
Belkuchi Upazila Nirbahi Officer Afia Sultana Keya presided over the festival where Upazila Parishad Women Vice Chairman Ratna Begum, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Shibani Sarkar, Belkuchi Press Club President Gazi Saidur Rahman, Upazila Primary Education Officer Mostafizur Rahman, Upazila Election Officer Mohammad Raihan Quddus, Upazila ICT Graphics Programmer Iman Ali, Trainer Suchitra Sarkar were present, among others.

Around 80 types of pithas have been exhibited at the festival, organizers said.
