Mr Keraniganj Bodybuilding competition on Saturday

Mr Keraniganj 2024, a day-long Bodybuilding competition for the bodybuilders in Keraniganj, is scheduled to be held on 10 February, Saturday, at the Hamid Sports Academy in Keraniganj.

Nasrul Hamid Bipu, MP, the State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, will inaugurate the competition as the chief guest.

The tournament is set up to encourage bodybuilding and its health benefits to the younger generation.

A total of 120 bodybuilders, including 40 from Keraniganj and 80 from different parts of the country, will take part in the competition.

The competition will be held in six categories: Bodybuilding Inter-Keraniganj, Man Physique
Inter-Keraniganj, Open Bodybuilding 65kg, Open Bodybuilding 75kg, Open Bodybuilding 75kg plus and Open Mens Physique.

Besides, there will be another category for the local participants called Mr Keraniganj.

The winner of Mr Keraniganj will be awarded Taka one lac.

A total of Taka eight lac will be given to the winners of the competition, as cash prizes.

In this regard, a press meet was held on Wednesday at the Dutch-Bangla Bank Auditorium of the Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) in Dhaka.

Hamid Sports Academy Director Sarwar Hossain divulged all the information related to the event there.
