Energypac conducts health awareness for staff wellbeing

Energypac Power Generation PLC has recently organized a health awareness campaign for all its employees to make sure that everyones mental and physical health keeps faring well.

The health program was held at Energy Point located in the Tejgaon area recently. This health awareness program was facilitated by Labaid Cancer Hospital and Super Speciality Centre. Two specialist doctors from the afore-mentioned hospital took part in the event, says a press release.

Employees of Energypac participated in the awareness program with great enthusiasm as it offered them an opportunity to gain useful information from medical professionals and get advices about how to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

As part of the program, sessions were arranged. A session on Surgical Treatment & Its Management by Dr. Anharur Rahman, Consultant, Laparoscopic, GI & Hepatobiliary Pancreatic Surgeon, Labaid Cancer Hospital and Super Speciality Centre, and a talk on Lifestyle & Stress Management by Irin Alam Joyti, Senior Psychologist at Labaid Cancer Hospital and Super Speciality Centre, were organized. The speakers shed light on different pertinent issues related to healthy life and efficient management of day-to-day stress.

Humayun Rashid, Managing Director & CEO of Energypac Power Generation PLC, said about this initiative, "At Energypac we are a family. Its important that you take care of the family members. Considering this, we have arranged this health awareness program so that our employees feel mentally sound and physically fit. Through this program, we aim to encourage our employees to talk long-term steps to maintain good health so that they can put out their best efforts for their growth and wellbeing."
