2 Rohingya children dies being hit by tourist bus in Teknaf

Two Rohingya children were killed after being hit by a tourist bus in Cox's Bazar's Teknaf on Friday morning.

The accident took place in Leda BGB camp area of Teknaf on Friday (February 9) around 8 am.
The deceased were Mohammad Hasan, 5, and Mohammad Ismail, 8, residents of Teknaf Rohingya Camp-25D/26 Block.

According to police, a tourist bus of 'Pyara Service' was going towards Teknaf with tourists. On the way, it ran over the two children while they were crossing road in that area. Both the children died on the spot.

Teknaf Ho Yikong Highway Police Station officer-in-charge Qayyum Chowdhury said the bus has been seized.
