Largest Jumma prayer held on Biswa Ijtema ground

The country's largest Jumma prayer was held on the Ijtema ground on Friday with the participation of millions of devotees.

The Jumma prayer, led by Maulana Yusuf Bin Saad, began around 1:45pm on the bank of the Turag river.

Besides other regions, devotees from all districts of Gazipur and Dhaka have started gathering at the venue since morning centering the Jumma prayer. The grounds were filled up with devotees by 12:00 noon.

Some were seen took part in the prayer from rooftop of the nearby buildings, boats.
More than 6,000 foreign devotees from around 56 countries joined the second phase of Biswa Ijtema began on Friday.

After Fajr prayers, this edition of Ijtema kicked off with general sermons by Maulana Ilyas Bin Saad of India.
