But Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) members are on high alert at the border.

Panic gripped the local residents of Bandarban's Uttarpara and Hoaikong again.
BGB Cox's Bazar Battalion's Director Lt Col Hafizur Rahman said, "The gunshots on the border have reduced than before. We are on high alert to prevent infiltration."

Two bullets, fired from Myanmar, found inside Bangladesh territory. But no injury reports were reported.
