CHATTOGRAM, Feb 10: A day-long workshop on Legal Skills and Mooting jointly organized by International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC) Law Department and Law Club was held at IIUC Central Auditorium on Saturday.
IIUC Vice-Chancellor Prof Anwarul Azim Arif was present as the chief guest in the workshop.
In his speech,he said, "IIUC has been playing a leading role in human resource development since its inception. To achieve that goal, the law department has been helping the university to achieve its goals by organizing such programmes."
Chairman of the Law Department, Associate Prof Md Manzoor Hossain Patwari presided over the workshop and Club Vice-President and Assistant Prof Ridwan Gani and Assistant Proctor and Assistant Prof and Vice-President Md. Nasir Uddin attended the workshop as special guests.
300 students from different years of law department participated in the workshop.
District and Sessions Judge of Brahmanbaria Md Nazrul Islam presented the keynote of the programme.
Shakhawat Hossain Sejan, Lecturer of Law Department of Feni University presented the discussion on mooting at the workshop.
The programme was moderated by lecturer Nusrat Jahan. Certificates were distributed among the participants of the workshop.
