AOAB holds its 11th Annual General Meeting

The 11th annual general meeting of Aviation Operators Association of Bangladesh (AOAB), the only organization of private aviation related parties, was held at Samson Center meeting room recently, says a press release.
 
AOAB President and Square Air Limited Managing Director Anjan Chowdhury presided over the meeting.

Vice President and Chairman Meghna Aviation Mostafa Kamal, Secretary General and Managing Director of NovoAir Mofizur Rahman, Treasurer and Managing Director of Impress Aviation Z Mahmood Mamun, Joint Secretary and Managing Director of South Asian Airlines Khandkar AFM Mohibullah, Organizing Secretary Rakibul Kabir, Publication Editor were present in the meeting. Mohammad Arifur Rahman.

Also Meghna Aviation Chief Operating Officer Anwarul Haque Sardar, Bashundhara Airways Chief Operating Officer ASM Mustafizul Haque, Sky Capital Airlines Chief Executive Officer JM Mostafizur Rahman, Beximco Aviation Chief Operating Officer Gulzar Hossain and many other persons were present.

The president said, currently the countrys aviation industry is going through difficult times, so we all have to work together.

The Secretary General also said that the cost of jet fuel, customs complications and various fees and surcharges set at high rates by civil aviation have put the owners of this sector in dire straits.

The members present in the meeting said that in order to sustain the aviation industry, the sincere cooperation of various organizations including the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, Ministry of Finance, Civil Aviation is necessary.
