Pitha festival held in Gopalganj

A pitha festival and joyous rally were organized at Gopalganj Government Bangabandhu College on the occasion of Bashanta Baran.

The festival was organized on Shaheed Minar premises of the college campus under the initiative of Department of Bengali.
The college Principal Professor Ohid Alam Lashkar inaugurated the festival as the chief guest.

At that time, Bengali Department Head Professor Shah Alam, Associate Professor Asim Barai, Assistant Professor Moin Uddin Ahmed, Rumana Akter, Lecturer Pradeep Bhakta were preset, among others.

Earlier, the procession was brought out from the college premises which paraded the streets of the town.
