Illegal brickfield owners fined in Pirojpur

PIROJPUR, Feb 15: A mobile court fined Tk 1.5 lakh to owners of two brickfields burning wood in their kilns illegally in Mathbaria Upazila of the district on Tuesday.
Fined kiln owners are Ishaq Ali, son of Abdul Qader Mia of Betmore Rajpara Village and Alamin, son of Mustafijru Rahman of Golbunia Village in the upazila.  
Executive Magistrate and Upazila Nirbahi Officer Abdul Quayum conducted the mobile court along with Upazila Civil Defence Officer Md Sohel Ahmed.
Police of Mathbaria Police Station and journalists were present during the mobile court. The court warned not to use fire wood.
