Pitha festival held in Gopalganj

GOPALGANJ, Feb 16: A pitha festival and joyous rally were organized at Gopalganj Government Bangabandhu College on Thursday on the occasion of Bashanta Baran.

The festival was organized on Shaheed Minar premises of the college campus under the initiative of Department of Bengali.
Principal of the college Professor Ohid Alam Lashkar inaugurated the festival as the chief guest.

Bengali Department Head Professor Shah Alam, Associate Professor Asim Barai, Assistant Professor Moin Uddin Ahmed, Rumana Akter, and Lecturer Pradeep Bhakta, among others, were also present at that time.

Earlier, a rally was brought out from the college premises, which paraded the main streets of the town.
