Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman was sent to Dhaka team hotel from Chattogram after being cleared to fly.

He was hit on his head during Cumilla Victorians' practice session on February 18 for a match of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
The Cumilla management informed that he underwent a second CT Scan, which also showed he had no problem, before flying to Dhaka.

"We had gone through second CT Scan of Mustafizur Rahman last night and consulted with Neuro Surgeon and BCB," said a statement from Cumilla Victorians, quoting its physio SM Zahidul Islam Sazal.

"After getting fit to Fly certificate we have shifted Mustafizur Rahman from Chattogram Imperial hospital to Dhaka team Hotel," he said.

He will continue to be under observation, the statement added, reports BSS.

"His wound is clean and recovering. We will continue dressing for the next three days. And then will consult with neurosurgeon again on February 23," he added.

The pacer was hit on the head by a shot of batter Matthew Ford when going back to his run-up. He was rushed to Imperial Hospital where scans were done on his head, however, to everyone's relief, there was no internal bleeding. The pacer needed five stitches in the injured area.

With Sri Lanka series approaching fast, Mustafizur's injury is a blow to Bangladesh as the pacer has been the integral part of the team in white-ball cricket still despite ups and downs in his form of late.
