On information, six fire-fighting units rushed to the spot and managed to extinguish the blaze around 7:10am, said Abdullah Al Arefin, deputy assistant director of Gazipur Fire Service.
Six persons were injured in the fire incident.

Several godowns on the third and fourth floors of the building were burnt in the fire.
