Two motorcyclists killed in Gaibandha road crash

Two motorcyclists were killed being crushed by a truck at Sadar upazila in Gaibandha district on Sunday.

The accident took place around 7:30 pm on the Gaibandha-Saghata regional road in Nashratpur area.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Quoting locals, Gaibandha Sadar Police Station officer-in-charge Md Masud Rana said a truck ran them over while they were heading to Baidakhali area, leaving the two riders dead on the spot.

On information, a team from the police station were sent to the spot, he added.
