SSC examinee killed on his way to exam centre

An SSC examinee was killed in a road accident at Durgapur upazila in Rajshahi on Wednesday morning.

The accident occurred around 9.30am in front of Anolia Primary School in the upazila.
The deceased was Shahriar Hasan, 17, son of Abdul Wahed, a resident of Palsha village under the upazila.

According to locals, Shahria along with a friend was heading towards to their examination hall riding on a bike. On the way, they fell on the middle of the road as he lost control over the steering of the bike. At that tim a speeding truck ran over the teenager, leaving him dead on the spot.

Durgapur Police Station sub-inspector Nasir Hossain said efforts are on to identify the truck and legal actions would be taken in this regard.
