CARE BD gets new director of strategic communication

CARE, one of the worlds largest international humanitarian organizations, has appointed Tony Michael Gomes as the new Director of Strategic Communication for Bangladesh.

Tony Michael Gomes is a seasoned development communication professional with more than two decades of experience in the development sector with international agencies.

Before joining CARE Bangladesh, he served Plan International, OXFAM, Save the Children, World Vision, UNAIDS, FHI, and JHU-CCPBCCP in different leading senior management positions.

As a Bangladeshi, Tony Michael has received the Chanakya Award twice for his outstanding contribution to public relations and development communications.

He has an impressive track record as an actor, lyricist, musician, director, and cinematographer, having worked on over 200 documentaries for the development sector.
