Fire breaks out in Elephant Road

A fire broke out at a 10-storey building in the capital's New Elephant Road area on Saturday morning.

The fire incident took place around 11.26 am at the seventh floor of the multi storey building in the area.
Lima Khanom, duty officer of Fire Service Headquarters, confirmed the matter, adding that being informed, two firefighting units rushed there and doused blaze before it spread out.

However, no casulaties were reported in this incident, added the fire service official.
