Solo exhibition titled 'Sabkata Janala Khule Dawna' begins at Shilpakala Academy

A solo exhibition of artist Nilufar Rahman 'Sabkata Janala Khule Dawna' started on march 7 at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy.
 
The exhibition is going on with more than 30 paintings painted by the artist on Bangabandhu, Liberation War and the immense sacrifice of Biranganas in the Liberation War.

On Friday (March 8), the exhibition was officially inaugurated by Bangladesh Awami League Presidium Member Dr. Abdur Razzak MP. The exhibition at Gallery No-5 at Shilpakala Academy will continue from 2 pm to 8 pm daily till March 13.

Abdur Razzak said, ''This exhibition will make an important contribution to make the present generation fully aware of the history of the sacrifices of our liberation war and the contribution of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in the construction of the country. I applaud the organizers for this event.''

Painter Nilufar Rahman said about the exhibition, "I have been involved in painting for a long time. Today's picture exhibition is the result of my long pursuit. Several exhibitions of my paintings have been organized outside the country. I want the people of the country to get acquainted with my paintings in my native Bangladesh and this exhibition has been organized in this perspective.''

Among the visitors who came to see the exhibition, Rajib Khan said, ''These paintings are very important for our generation. Through which we will know about Liberation War and Bangabandhu. Besides, this kind of exhibition will take us forward to be progressive.''

Sinthia Islam Roja said, ''I am interested in art exhibition, so I came. These paintings will be a milestone for us and the next generation.''
