Dhaka Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal-8 Judge Shawkat Ali on Thursday ordered Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) to investigate the case of allurement, forcibly marrying and rape of a female student by Motijheel Ideal School and College governing body member Khandaker Mustaque Ahmed.
On March 3, Md Saiful Islam, father of the student of the college, submitted a Naraji Petition (no confidence petition) before the tribunal against the Final Report (FRT) in which police made a plea to exonerate Khandaker Mustaque Ahmed and the college Principal Fauzia Rashedi.
After hearing on the Naraji Petition, Judge Shawkat Ali of Dhaka Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal-8 fixed Thursday for passing an order.
Md Saiful Islam filed the case of allurement, forcibly marrying and rape with Dhaka Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal-8 on August 1 last year against Mustaque, who allegedly forcibly married the student of Class XI, and the College Principal Fauzia for abetment.
