Laptops distributed among women in Panchagarh

Laptops were distributed among 80 women on Tuesday in Panchagarh's Debiganj upazila to ensure sustainable empowerment of women as self-employment and entrepreneurs.

A distribution programme was organized in the afternoon on Debiganj Upazila Parishad premises where the laptops were distributed among the women who completed a five-month training as IT service providers under the 'Her Power' project.
At that time, Debiganj Upazila Parishad Chairman Abdul Malek Chishti, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Shariful Alam, Women Vice Chairman Ritu Akter, Assistant Programmer ATM Mamud, Debiganj Press Club President Harish Chandra Roy were present, among others.
