Man dies being hit by truck in Kishoreganj

A man died and two others were injured after being run over by a truck in Kishoreganj's Pakundia upazila on Thursday.

The accident took place in the morning in Marura area under the upazila.
Deceased Ripon Mia, 45, hailed from Nandail upazila in Mymensingh district.

According to police and locals, in the morning, three persons including Ripon were returning to his village from Gazipur riding on a motorcycle. On the way, a cargo truck hit their motorcycle when they reached that area. Ripon died on the spot and two others were injured.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Pakundia Police Station Asaduzzaman Titu confirmed it.
