Three businesses fined at Sreemangal

SREEMANGAL, MOULVIBAZAR, Mar 22: Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection (DNCRP) fined three businesses Tk 20,000 for different irregularities in Sreemangal Upazila of the district on Wednesday.

A team of District DNCRP led by its Assistant Director (AD) Md Shafiqul Islam conducted separate drives in the upazila on Wednesday, and fined Bhai Bhai Bakery and Sweetmeat Tk 15,000, Jamila Traders Tk 3,000, and Pal Varieties Store Tk 2,000 for different irregularities including selling date-expired products and not having price lists.
