Mirza Fakhrul returns home

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir returned home from Singapore on Saturday afternoon after medical check-up and treatment.

Fakhrul along with his wife Rahat Ara Begum landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on a Biman flight around 6:00pm.
Earlier on March 4, Mirza Fakhrul left the country along with his wife.

BNP media cell member Shyrul Kabir Khan said the BNP secretary general received advice of medical specialists at two hospitals after reaching Singapore. He also underwent some medical tests there.

It may be mentioned that Mirza Fakhrul was freed on bail on February 15 last after some three and a half months in jail. During the period, he lost six kilograms of weight. After his release, Mirza Fakhrul met Professor Dr Shamsul Arefin at Bangladesh Specialised Hospital in Dhaka and took treatment under his supervision.
