Vegetable trader found dead in M’singh

Police recovered a half-decomposed body of a man from a rented house at Gouripur upazila in Mymensingh district on Monday night.

The deceased was Ali Akbar, 60, hailed from Bishnupur village under Ishwarganj upazila in the district. 

It was learnt that he was a vegetable trader and used to live in a rented house near the Gouripur Railway Station.

On Monday night, locals smelt a bad smell from Akber’s house and they rushed there. Then they found the body of Ali Akbar and informed police. 
Getting information, police recovered the body.

Ali Akber went to sleep at his rented tin-shed room on Saturday night after ending his work. 

Sumon Sondro Roy, Gouripur Police Station officer in-charge, said, “Police are preparing to send the body to a hospital morgue for autopsy”.
 
The actual reason behind the death would be known after autopsy, he added.
