Hotel workers demand festival allowance in Natore

NATORE, Apr 4: Labourers and employees of hotels, restaurants, and sweet shops in the district demanded Eid allowances from their owners.

Labourers formed a human chain in front of Natore Press Club for realising their demand recently.

Leaders of the labour organization demanded festival allowance equal to one month salary and asked them to pay this before 27 Ramadan. Besides, they also requested the owners group to issue appointment letters and ID cards to each worker and employee for the safety of job.

Among others, Samar Chandra Sarker, president of the organization, Shamim Ahmed, GS, and Saiful Islam, and president of District Awami Sramik League spoke.
