Shabab Ahmed Choudhury has been appointed as the Head of Corporate & Regulatory Affairs at BAT Bangladesh (BATB) from 1st April 2024.
Shabab has recently completed 15 years with BAT Group, during which he has assumed various pivotal roles across multiple countries like Bangladesh, Pakistan, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, and the UK. In his recent stint in the UK, he successfully performed the role of Head of Commercial Finance-DBS, says a press release.
Shabab completed his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from North South University (NSU). His journey with BATB commenced in 2009 when he joined the company as a Finance Management Trainee.
In a message, Shabab shared, "I am truly honored to rejoin BAT Bangladesh as part of the leadership team."
Shababs inclusion will be a valuable one to the BATB leadership team as he brings with him diverse cross-market knowledge, as well as strong commercial acumen to help the business navigate through challenging times.
