Teenage boy dies in elephant attack at National Zoo

A teenage boy died after an elephant suddenly attacked him at National Zoo in the capital on Eid day.

The incident happened in between 10:30am to 11am.

A source at the zoo said today is a rush day at the zoo cause it is Eid day. Like other days, elephant's play with a football was shown to the visitors. Suddenly, the elephant attacked a nearby teenager out of anger and thrown him wrapped up its trunk.

The teenage boy died on the spot.

The deceased was the son of a zoo worker, the source added.
