Car gutted in fire on Elevated Expressway

A car was completely gutted after it caught fire on the Dhaka Elevated Expressway in the capital on Thursday afternoon.


The incident took place near the Kuril Bishwa Road area on Eid-Ul-Fitr day, resulting in traffic congestion on the road.


However, no casualties were reported in the incident.


On information, two firefighting units brought the fire under control at around 5:43 pm,"  said Anwarul Islam, warehouse inspector of Fire Service and Civil Defence.
