Fire at Hazaribagh slum under control

A fire that broke out at a slum in Hazaribagh area of the capital on Friday morning has been brought under control.

Rozina Akter, duty officer of the Fire Service control room, said the fire broke out around 11:50am. 

Seven units of fire fighters rushed to the spot and doused the blaze around 12:40pm.
The cause of the fire could not be known immediately, she added.
