Man dies in Rajshahi road accident

A man was killed when a speeding trolley collided with his motorbike on the Sultanpur-Bilmaria road near the Maharajpur area in Bagha Upazila of Rajshahi on Sunday noon.

Ashraful Islam Bipul, 47, a resident of the same upazila, had retired from military service approximately five months ago.

Officer-in-Charge of Bagha Police Station, Aminul Islam said that the power trolley struck his motorbike in that area around 12.30pm, leaving him critical injuries.

Locals took him to the Lalpur Upazila Health Complex where doctors pronounced him dead upon arrival.
