Two die in Gopalganj road accidents

Two people died in two separate road accidents at Kotalipara and Sadar upazilas of Gopalganj district on Tuesday.

The deceased were identified as Alim Biswas, 62, hailed from Majbari area in Kotalipara upazila and Raihan Mollah, 18, a resident of Gopalganj town and an HSC student of Govt Bangabandhu College.
In Kotalipara upazila, Alim Biswas died as a motorcycle hit him this morning when he was crossing the Gopalganj-Kotalipara Road. He was rushed to Kotalipara upazila Health Complex, where the duty doctors declared him dead, officer-in-charge of Kotalipara Police Station Firoj Alam confirmed.

In a seperate road accident, Raihan Mollah died in a head-on collision between his motorcycle and an easy bike on Dhaka-Khulna Highway last night, said officer-in-charge of Gopalganj Sadar Police Station Md Anisur Rahman.
