Armed KNF member killed in Army drive in Bandarban

An armed member of Kuki-Chin National Front (KNF) has been killed in a drive carried out by Bangladesh Army at Ruma upazila in Bandarban district.

At the same time, the Army recovered some firearms, ammunition and other arms-equipment from Munlaipara area of the upazila.
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed the matter with a release on Monday night.

It said, "Bangladesh Army carried out a drive in Munlaipara area on Monday. An armed terrorist was killed in the operation. Besides, some firearms, ammunition and other arms-equipment were seized at that time."
