Norwester disrupts electricity supply at Kulaura

KULAURA, MOULVIBAZAR, Apr 22: A Norwester disrupted electricity supply in Kulaura Upazila of the district on Monday mid-night.  

Electric lines and poles collapsed in different areas in the upazila.

Power Department sources said, electricity workers are working to restore the power supply.  

So far from morning, three feeders have been reactivated, and the work to reactivate Kadipur, Brahmanbazar, Sirajnagar, and Ghagtia feeders is going on.

The wind also made big damages to living houses.

Kulaura Upazila Power Departments Executive Engineer Md Shahdat Hossain confirmed the supply disruption.

"We hope to restore the supply fully soon," he added.
