The deceased was Ahsan Habib, an assistant teacher of Amdabad Secondary School in the upazila.

Jashore General Hospital supervisor Dr Abdur Rashid said, "Ahsan Habib was brought dead to the hospital."
According to the deceased's relatives, the teacher went to the filed before going to the school in the morning for work. Later he went to the school and fell sick.

He might have died from heatstroke, they claimed.
