BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has been taken to home from hospital on Thursday (May 2).
She was taken to her home at ;Firoza' in Gulshan-2 from the Evercare Hospital's cabin on Thursday night, said her press wing officer Shamsuddin Didar.
Khaleda Zia was drove to Evercare Hospital from her residence at 'Firoza' in Gulshan on Wednesday evening. she was taken to the hospital at the advice of her medical board.
The former prime minister left Evercare Hospital at 8:22am on Thursday and reached her residence at 8:54pm, said Shamsuddin Didar.
The 79-year-old has been suffering from arthritis, heart disease, lung infection, liver, kidney, and eye complications and diabetes.
She was admitted to the Evercare Hospital on March 31 last where she was given treatment keeping at the CCU. She returned home from hospital after three days.
On October 26 last year, three US specialist doctors performed the hepatic procedure known as transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS procedure) to alleviate fluid accumulation in Khaleda Zia's abdomen and chest, as well as to address bleeding in her liver.
