Similar weather may persist at one or two places over Dhaka, Barishal and Sylhet divisions, the Met office said.
It said weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country. Meanwhile, a severe heat wave continues over the districts of Rajshahi, Pabna, Jashore, Chuadanga and Kushtia.
Besides, Dhaka, Rangpur, Mymensingh, and Barishal divisions, along with parts of Rajshahi, Khulna, and the district of Chandpur, are experiencing mild to moderate heatwave conditions and it may abate from some places over the country.
Daytime temperatures are expected to slightly decrease, and night temperatures may fall by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius across the country, said the Met office forecast that valid for 24 hours commencing from 9am on Friday.
The country's highest temperature in the last 24 hours was recorded at a sweltering 41.8 degrees Celsius in Chuadanga. Conversely, the lowest temperature was noted in Tetulia at a cooler 16.1 degrees Celsius on Friday morning.
Earlier, on Thursday night, after a relentless month of fierce heatwave, Dhaka finally witnessed the much-desired rain. A 10mm of rainfall was also recorded in Dhaka.
