Body to probe over facing off two trains on same track

A four-member probe body has been formed over the incident of facing off Moitree Express and Dhumketo Express trains on the same track.

The incident happened at Bangabandhu Bridge (West) Station on Saturday afternoon. However, both of the trains were saved from an accident.
Notably, the Moitree Express train runs on the Dhaka-Kolkata route while Dhumketu Express train on the Dhaka-Rajshahi route.

Shah Sufi Noor Mohammad, manager of Pakshi Divisional Railway in Pabna's Ishwardi, on Sunday, said the four-member probe committee, led by Pakshi Divisional Railway assistant transport official Harun-or-Rashid, was formed after Railway Minister Zillul Hakim directed to investigate the incident in the shortest possible time.
