Two Bangladeshi youths were shot to death allegedly by Indian Border Security Force (BSF) in Panchagarh's Tentulia upazila on Wednesday.

The incident took place early in the morning along the border in Khoykhatpara area of the upazila.
The deceased were Jalil, 24, son of Junu Mia, a resident of Magura village under the upazila, and Yasin Ali, 23, son of Ketab Ali of Tirnihat Bramtol village of the same upazila.

BGB and locals said that BSF personnel shot at some youths when they approached the Indian border early in the morning. The two died on the spot. Later, the body was taken inside India by BSF.

Tentulia Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Sujoy Kumar confirmed the matter and said that he came to know about the incident through BGB. However, it seemed that the two youths were involved in cattle smuggling.
