Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra played out to a 1-1 goal draw with Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society in the ABG Bangladesh Premier League football tournament held at Birshreshtha Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj on Friday.
After the barren first half, Ghanaian forward Ernest Boateng finally broke the deadlock scoring the first goal for Rahmatganj in the 56th minute while Serbian midfielder Vojislav Balabanovic restored the parity for Sheikh Russel in the 62nd minute of the match.
After the goal, both the teams, however, got several scoring chances but could not score any in the remaining proceeding.
With the days result, Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra bagged 15 points from 15 matches while the old Dhaka outfit Rahmatganj collected 11 points playing the same number
of outings.
Earlier, in the first phase, Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra played out to a goalless draw held at Bashundhara Kings Arena.
