Discussion on International Nurses Day held in Rangamati

A discussion and procession were held in Rangamati district to mark the birthday of Florence Nightingale, the pioneer of modern nursing health care, and International Nurses Day.

The programme highlighting the significance of the day was held at Rangamati General Hospital conference room in the morning with the theme of ''Our Nurses. Our Future. The economic power of care''.
Rangamati District Civil Surgeon Dr. Nuyen Khisa was the chief guest in the discussion presided over by Rangamati General Hospital Sub-Service Supervisor Dipti Rani Chowdhury conducted by the hospital Senior Staff Nurse Mitu Talukder.

Rangamati General Hospital Senior Consultant (Child) Dr. MA Hai, General Hospital RMO Dr. Shaukat Akbar Khan were present at that time, among others.

Earlier, a colorful procession was taken out from the gymnasium premises with the participation of nursing officers of all levels of the General Hospital.
