Man dies as bus hits private car in Gopalganj

A man died and two others were injured when a passenger bus hit a private car in Gopalganj's Muksudpur upazila on Monday.

The accident happened around 8 am in College Mor area under the upazila on the Dhaka-Khulna highway.
The dead was Sher Khan, 45, hailed from Mirpur in Dhaka.

Police said a bus belonging to 'Narail Express' from Narail ran over a private car leaving from Dhaka in that area. Sher Khan died on spot and two others were injured of the private car.

Muksudpur Police Station officer-in-charge Md Ashraful Alam confirmed the news.

The bus was seized but the driver and helper escaped. Attempts are being made to detain them, the OC added.
