CHATTOGRAM, May 14: The final match of ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury Premier University (PU) Inter-Departmental Football Tournament held at Oxygen Sports Zone, Chattogram on Tuesday.
In the final match, Department of Sociology and Sustainable Development defeated English Department by 5-4.
Premier University Sports Development Committee member-Secretary Pankaj Biswas conducted the program while Ekushey Padak winner and Premier University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Anupam Sen was present as the chief guest.
Board of Trustees member Mrs Hasina Mohiuddin present as special guest on the occasion.
Prof Dr Kazi Shamim Sultana, Treasurer and Dean of the Faculty of Science and Engineering Prof Dr Tawfiq Saeed, Board of Trustees Member-Secretary Borhanul Hasan Chowdhury were present on the occasion.
Prof Dr Anupam Sen said, this football tournament was organised in memory of ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury. His contribution especially in education and health sector is remarkable.
