NGO worker found dead in Ukhiya

Police recovered the body of a employee of a non-governmental organization or NGO from Kotbazar in Ukhiya on Wednesday night.

The man Abdullah Al Masud, son of Mohammad Shafi, was a member of an NGO named NRC.
Selim Kaysar, Ratnapalang union parishad chairman, said Masud rented the house five months ago. 

Locals noticed his hanging body in the night and informed the matter to police.


Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Ukhiya Police station Md Shamim Hossain said they suspected that the victim might have committed suicide.
