Jhenidah-4 MP Anwarul Azim ‘missing’ in India for 3 days

The member of parliament from Jhenidah-4 constituency, Anwarul Azim Anar, who went to India for treatment, has reportedly been missing for the last three days.


Anwarul's personal secretary (PS) Abdur Rouf confirmed the matter.


On May 11, the Awami League lawmaker went to India through Darshana-Gede border. He communicated with his family on Thursday last. But his family could not communicate with him since then.


Abdur Rouf said the prime minister has been informed about the matter while intelligence agencies are monitoring the incident.


Anwarul Azim’s daughter Mumtarin Ferdous said they informed the detective branch of police about the matter.
