IIUC delegation calls on Prez

CHATTOGRAM, May 20: A delegation of International Islamic University of Chittagong (IIUC) led by Chairman of Board of Trustees and former MP Prof Dr Abu Reza Muhammad Nezamuddin Nadwi paid a courtesy call on President and Chancellor Mohammad Sahabuddin at Bangabhaban on Monday.

IIUC Vice-Chancellor Prof Anwarul Azim Arif, Board of Trustees Vice-Chairman Prof Dr Kazi Deen Mohammad, BOT Member and Finance Committee Chairman Prof Dr Engineer Rashid Ahmed Chowdhury, BOT Member and Female Academic Zone Chairman Mrs Rizia Reza Chowdhury, BOT Member and Chairman of Purchase Committee Prof Dr Mohammad Saleh Zahor, IIUC Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mohammad Mashrurul Mawla, Registrar AFM Akhtaruzzaman Kaiser were present.

Secretaries concerned of the President Office were also present.

During the meeting, the IIUC delegation invited the President to the 6th Convocation of the University to be held at the end of this year or early next year.

At that time, the President said that the quality of education should be ensured in the management of the universitys educational programmes.

He suggested the university authority to increase research activities to improve the quality of the higher education.
