Teenagers arrested while casting fake votes in Kishoreganj

A teenage boy and a girl were arrested for casting fake votes from a polling station in Kishoreganj's Katiadi Upazila.

On Tuesday, they were arrested from Fulbaria Government Primary School polling center under Sahshram-Dhuldia union of the upazila during the second phase upazila election.
The arrested are Sifatuzzaman of Fulbaria village under Sahshram-Dhuldia union of the upazila, and Tamanna Akter of Nawabaria village of the same union.

The polling center Presiding Officer Mazharul Islam said, ''The two were arrested for casting fake votes. As both are minors, Senior Judicial Magistrate Riazul Kawsar ordered them to be sent to court. As minors, legal action will be taken against them through the Juvenile Court.''
