Farid Ahmed re-elected as chairman in Naogaon's Niamatpur

In Naogaon's Niamatpur upazila, Upazila Awami League Vice-President and former upazila chairman Farid Ahmed has been re-elected to the post of chairman in the upazila parishad elections.

He got 40,707 votes. His closest rival Niamatpur Upazila Awami League President Abul Kalam Ajad got 22,339 votes.

On the other hand, Raihan Kabir Raju was elected as vice chairman and Nazmin Ara Khatun was elected as female vice chairman.
