Two KNF men shot dead in Bandarban

Two members of the Kuki-Chin National Front (KNF) were killed in a 'gunfight' with the joint forces in Bandarban Sadar upazila on Thursday morning.

The deceased could not be identified immediately.

Additional Superintendent of Bandarban Police Hoshain Md Rayhan Kazemi said two KNF members were killed on Thursday morning in the ongoing operation of joint forces in Sharonpara area of Ward No. 6 of Sualak Union of Bandarban Sadar Upazila.

Police are making arrangements to recover the body and bring it to Bandarban Sadar Hospital morgue, he added.
