2 KNF men killed in gunfight with Joint Forces in Bandarban

BANDARBAN, May 23: Two members of the Kuki-Chin National Front (KNF) were killed in a gunfight with the joint forces in Bandarban Sadar upazila on Thursday morning. The deceased could not be identified immediately.

Additional Superinten-dent of Bandarban Police Hoshain Md Rayhan Kazemi said two KNF members were killed on Thursday morning in the ongoing operation of joint forces in Sharonpara area of Ward No. 6 of Sualak Union of Bandarban Sadar Upazila.
Police are making arrangements to recover the body and bring it to Bandarban Sadar Hospital morgue, he added.
