Driver killed as truck hit roadside tree in Jashore

A truck driver was killed  and two others were injured after the vehicle lost control and hit a roadside tree in Sadipur area of Jashore-Magura road 7am on Saturday.

The deceased was identified as Arijul Islam, 30. Two people, including the helper of the truck, were injured including.

Abhijit Singh Roy, in-charge of Khajura Police Camp, said the accident occurred when a rod-laden truck crashed into a roadside tree after its driver lost control of the wheels, leaving the driver dead on the spot and two others injured.

Jashore Fire Service rescued the injured helper and sent to Jashore Medical College Hospital.
